WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
You can stay at The Ojai Retreat for free in exchange for 6 hours of work in the garden (occasionally in the office if work is available).  If you are interested, the following rules apply:

• A work exchange stay is limited to 3 weekday nights (extension is possible if work and guestrooms are available).  No work exchange possible on weekends or holidays.
• The Ojai Retreat will choose the guestroom for the work exchange guests.  It will depend on room availability.  Guests might have to change the guestroom even though we will do the best we can to prevent this.
• No housekeeping will be provided during your work exchange stay.
• A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required at booking for administrative costs. This deposit is non-refundable.

Alternative work-exchange program:  Book a guestroom at The Ojai Retreat at the regular price and reduce your guestroom rate by $10 per hour of work.  Price can be reduced – but not lower than 50% of the regular price.  Not applicable at weekends.

Experience tranquility with a Reiki session from Sharmila Mali while staying at the Ojai Retreat:
Sharmila Mali, a certified Reiki Master/Teacher, is available for Reiki/Energy Work, by appointment. Reiki is a type of hands-on healing therapy. The practitioner places her hands on different areas of the body while energy passes through the practitioner’s hands to the recipient. Reiki/energy work can be performed when the fully-clothed recipient is comfortably lying on a massage table. Each session is unique and offers an opportunity for you to transform or to heal. The result varies from feeling stress-free to a lightness in being.
